lego avatar My name is Antonio Checa, and I’m a technical trainer at an OEM and IT Professional but you could consider me more of a technology evangelist as my primary jobs is to promote and spread information about new technologies, in particular Microsoft ones but not limited to it. I’ve been around the IT industry now for about 8 years and I’ve worked in different roles such as help desk, web solution developer, network administrator and system administrator. My current areas of focus include system management, storage, disaster recovery solutions and virtualization. You can read more about me at my LinkedIn profile page.

I’ve decided to put together this blog to write about some of the newest technologies Microsoft has out with the launch of Windows Server 2008, System center and others, which I think are pretty cool.

I’m not looking at creating the next big thing with this blog I just want to share with you some of the different pieces of information Microsoft has available over its different resources MSDN, TechNet, TechNet Edge, Channel 9 and various blogs their developers and program managers have out.

Another reason why I’m putting together this blog is to have a repository of information for myself and friends as we move along in the development of our IT skills focusing mainly on Microsoft products (which already is quite a handful) at some point I might cover other topics that I consider relevant for IT professionals.

This blog in no way represent the position of my employer or is associated with Microsoft, this is just my personal view on current technology provided by Microsoft and other 3rd party vendors.
